ABOUT US

We are a National Professional Association which main objective is to congregate all sound technicians and seek for excellence in all our member associates, and also to make our members aware of the professional and social responsibility of our profession within the sphere of cultural and entertainment activities.

Ethics are fundamental to our Association. And is our purpose to assume the up most respect for the audiences and also to inform the public in general that SOUND is the result of technique and creativity and increase the awareness of new technologies and knowhow to all our member associates.

The creation of this Association comes as a response to the attitude assumed by several governments and institutions of abandonment regarding our profession and the fact that is not yet recognised or classified as a profession at all.

Our profession is essential for the well being of the entertainment industry. The presence of a qualified sound technician to operate professional sound equipment is essential. This Association will contact governmental institutions in an attempt to have this professional activity recognized, which is of elementary justice to all of those involved.
